Homesick during the Holidays...

WOW! This will be my first Christmas ever without these people by my side.

Won't be the same..there is definately no place like home for the holidays!

Everytime I am a little sad in Korea...I look at pics of my loving family...

The most wonderful time of the year!!

WOW!
Check it out! Our Christmas tree in Korea...yup that is right, its covered in white balls...aka..snow. Its a beauty!! Cherry and I have spent a few too many hours making Christmas decorations to make our house a little more homie for the holidays. A mix of the Philippines meets Korea meets Canada. It actually feels very home like in a sad way now!

Hours of cutting...and we have a tonne of snowflakes everywhere. Also...hours of pasting..and we have red and green...hangy things for the walls...BEAUTIFUL eh?? And Santa is proudly displayed on the wall!! Thanks Mom and Dad!

Introducing the newest member of our family...Noel. Christmas in Paris...a little reminder that we are going to Paris in 33 days for the holidays. 33 days and I will be able to get on a subway and not have one person stare, point, laugh, giggle, spit, tell their children to look at the white girl, or nicely ask where I am from!! I can't wait!!!

One final look at the ugliest tree in the History of Christmas....but so beautiful in its own special way. It is beautiful no matter what they say...

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Belated Halloween!

Well...Halloween sucked this year. Our boss is currently "flexing his muscles" and has gone psycho. Everyone had their students dress up, and for the end of class we were going to play a Halloween game. Obviously 15 minutes of enjoyment for these tiny Koreans is too much, so Psycho man took the kids costumes away, and cancelled all Halloween activities. Me...with a small rebellious streak..managed to sqeeze in a few fun activities..as you can see...the students had the time of their lives.

The students drew a pumpkin face. Many had no clue what to do! Then present them to the class...fun eh?

This is as happy as the kids get here, that go to my school.

One kid snuck in a pair of crazy glasses....don't tell anyone...he's having fun!
