CHRISTMAS in APRIL???

I have never missed Christmas with my family. My biggest concern with leaving for a year, is missing my first Christmas..especially with the kids in the family now. However, my family seemed to save the holiday...just a little ahead of schedule.

A special thanks goes out to my Mom and sisters for thier awesome cooking even if I couldn't eat much with my throat so freaking swollen, and my Grandparents for joining the fun!!
I think my Grandpa Mullin said it best "Well, now you have no choice, you gotta get outta here" followed quickly by Grandma Turnbull "if you have any trouble in that country, RUN LIKE HELL to the army base"
My Dad put his wise words on the cake.

so sorry to hear about the strep throat though :(
Groovy, hey, tell me when you get in on Monday to Vancouver, even if I just get to give you a hug before you leave it would totally be worth it, if you don't think you'll have time, let me know.

High Cheryl This is your dad here. Just got up a few minutes ago. Curtis and Aaron are visiting for the next couple of days. Well we got your email. Praise the Lord you made it okay. The culture shock thing is quite normal I am sure but you'll get your feet grounded soon enough.
